families
The family system is held in balance through the relationships, communication and various roles of those individuals within the family. Changes such as the birth of a child or a crisis (transition into kindergarten or school, divorce, death or others) can destabilize the system and bring along a new order.
This new organization of the system can lead to family members showing a new behavior or symptom that was not present beforehand.
Through working with the whole family, we would like to support you with this new organization amongst the family. By listening to one another and providing everyone the chance to share their perspective, the opportunity for understanding begins to develop, which is the foundation of a new togetherness.
When working with multiple family members we work as a team, providing two therapists with the intent to focus on effective and well-balanced results.
